Last Sept. 11, 2005, the Jesus is Lord GWDC celebrated it's 8th year Anniversary at its new location at 1845 N Columbus St, Arlington, VA.  The ocassion was blessed with the presence of guest speaker Reverend Rick Wood of Jesus Is Lord Hawaii. Pastor Rick shared the message on Habakkuk 2:3 " For the vision is yet for an appointed time. But at the end it shall speak and not lie. Though it tarry, wait for it because it will surely come, it will not tarry." The congragation was encouraged to build patience and keep grounded on the Word of God, because it's the foundation of faith in Him.  Habakuk 2:3 was this year's theme verse of JIL GWDC.

The Kiddoz (Children’s) Ministry presented two engaging special numbers, followed by a heartfelt video presentation that showcased the humble beginnings of the local chapter, and how it has grown to its present membership.  The young ladies of the Christian Youth for the Nation (CYN/Youth Ministry) presented a powerful interpretative dance that helped minister the church’s vision as it starts another year of victory in the Lord.  Distinguished guests like Vellie Dietrich-Hall, Commissioner of the Presidential Advisory Committee for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, graced the event along with other visitors in the area from a variety of backgrounds. JIL GWDC also formally launched its first-ever anniversary magazine, called “The Visionary.”
