The JIL GWDC church Family and their guests hosted a successful Fall picnic on October 15, Saturday at Burke Lake Park! The whole day event which started at around 8:30 am hosted a variety of group activities in the morning-- fishing, hiking, volleyball, badminton, playground fun and more! At around noon, the group reconvened at the rented picnic pavilion for Praise and Worship songs, prayer and to help celebrate all September and October celebrants (birthdays and weddings). It was also a special "welcome back" gesture to Pastor Jessie Maghacot who just spent approx 2 weeks in Manila for the JIL Worldwide 27th Yr. Anniversary.

After lunch, the group was divided into two tribes--Tribes of Judah and Benjamin, for two hours of games and fun! Some of the games that they played included sack races, egg relays, ball game, tug-of-war, People and Places trivia, where both teams tied at 6-6. The main event, called the game of the AMAZING SURVIVOR where teams had to complete 7 tasks together further proved that the teams held a close match, thus declaring them both winners for the day! Many thanks to the prize donors for their prize donations! Everyone enjoyed the special treats.

There was line dancing and singing, and of course the traditional pinata as treats for the kids.
